Crowded-round skip gate

An optional gate on top of your automated strategy. When recent completed rounds saw too much SOL deployed network-wide, your miner sits out — without you pausing by hand.

What does it do?

Every ORE round, miners across the network deploy SOL onto the board. Some stretches of rounds are quiet; others are crowded. Automated strategies normally fire whenever their own balance and strategy rules allow — they don’t look at how busy the network was recently.

Crowded-round skip gate adds that missing check. Before your strategy runs, Orestack checks recent completed-round network deployment. If it is above your threshold, the round is skipped.

In plain english

“Don’t deploy if recent deployment is above 4 SOL.” Your tile logic, EV math, and split percentages stay the same — this only decides whether the strategy may fire.

Settings

Enable

Off by default. Existing miners keep their current behaviour until you turn this on and save.

Maximum SOL I’ll accept

If recent deployment is above this, skip the round. At this amount or below, still deploy. Suggested starting value: 4 SOL. Lookback is fixed (not shown in the UI). Hint text is in the field’s i tooltip.

Starting recommendation

Enable with 4 SOL. Watch Activity for a few busy stretches, then raise or lower the threshold so you skip when the room feels too crowded for your style.

Where to find it

  1. Open Mining on the Mining page and select your miner.
  2. Edit Strategy in the STRATEGY panel (or set it while creating a new miner).
  3. Scroll past your strategy’s own fields to the Gates group — look for Crowded-round skip, toggle it on, set Maximum SOL I’ll accept, then Save.

When it skips

Skips show in the miner’s Activity panel as SKIPPED with a plain-English reason, for example:

Skipped — recent deployment was 4.1667 SOL, above your 4.0000 SOL average cap.
