An optional Custom Strategy gate. Mine only when live ORE is strictly more than or less than a SOL or USD number you set — equal prices sit out.
Custom Strategy normally fires whenever its other rules allow. Based on Price adds a market check: before your Custom miner deploys, Orestack compares the same-round Jupiter ORE quote to your threshold.
Choose Ore price in USD or Ore price in SOL, then more than or less than. There is no “equal to” option. A live price that lands exactly on your number skips.
“Only mine when ORE is more than $70.” With ORE at $70.16 the round mines; at exactly $70.00 both more-than and less-than skip. Or “only mine when ORE/SOL is less than 0.6000” — 0.5900 mines; 0.6100 and exactly 0.6000 skip.
Off by default. Existing Custom miners keep their current behaviour until you turn this on and save. The old Highest EV-only “Skip based on Ore price” SOL ceiling is gone — set Based on Price yourself if you still want a price gate.
Ore price in USD uses cents from the Jupiter ORE USD quote.
Ore price in SOL uses lamports-per-ORE from the same response
(ore_usd / sol_usd). Switching the unit clears the parameter — it does not convert.
more than mines only when live > parameter. less than mines only when live < parameter. Equal always skips.
The number to compare against. The form shows the current price for the selected unit
right after this field (for example Current: $70.16 or
Current: 0.6100 SOL). Zero is rejected.
Pick a side that matches how you think about the market (sit out when expensive, or when cheap). Watch Activity for a few rounds, then tighten. Thresholds within a cent or a few lamports of spot will chatter on and off as the quote ticks.
Skips show in the miner’s Activity panel as SKIPPED with a plain-English reason, for example:
